Matthew King is a dynamic public speaker, poet, community leader, and advocate for empowerment. Through his keynote presentations and workshops on identity, leadership, belonging, resilience, and community impact, he inspires audiences to embrace their stories, lead with purpose, and transform their experiences into catalysts for change. An award-winning speaker featured at events such as the 2025 SAAB National Summit, Matthew has engaged audiences at high schools, community colleges, universities, leadership summits, and organizations including the NAACP Springfield Chapter. Through powerful storytelling, spoken word poetry, and meaningful dialogue, he challenges individuals to harness their voices and take action to create lasting impact.

Beyond the stage, Matthew is deeply committed to community transformation. As the Founder and Director of the Everybody Eats Scholarship, he has raised over $20,800 for students at Mt. Clemens High School, helping ensure financial barriers do not limit educational opportunities. Recognizing the need for mentorship and positive spaces for young Black adults, he also launched Mount Clemens Hoops, an initiative fostering leadership, unity, and personal growth through basketball.
